Ashlee – Certified Veterinary Technician

Ashlee grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, where her lifelong love for animals inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work in an animal-related field, and during high school, she discovered that becoming a veterinary technician was the perfect fit. After enrolling at VTI, she earned her Associate in Veterinary Technology in 2017, and has been an integral part of the veterinary community ever since.

With nearly 8 years of experience in the field, Ashlee is passionate about making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. She thrives in the dynamic and ever-evolving world of veterinary medicine, particularly in the areas of anesthesia, emergency/urgent care, and working with exotic animals. Ashlee is also Fear Free Certified, ensuring a gentle and compassionate approach to every patient.

When she’s not caring for animals, Ashlee enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, as well as their diverse group of pets—one cat, two snakes, and a sulcata tortoise. In her free time, she loves reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
