Dr. Jaime Griffin, VMD, Medical Director

Dr. Jaime Griffin has committed the better part of her life to the care of animals and strives to keep pets happy and healthy through proper medical care and client education. The time spent with patients and clients is one of the things she enjoys the most as a veterinarian.

Dr. Griffin has a special interest in geriatrics and is devoted to helping pets be mobile and pain-free. Jaime believes that the musculoskeletal system is just as important as organs like the heart, the kidneys, and the liver for sustaining life. Without a functional musculoskeletal system many pets suffer and even die as a result.

Jaime received her Bachelor of Science through Grove City College and Veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her first ‘best dog’, Taylor, was with her through high school, college, marriage, veterinary school and even when she started her first job. Taylor was a Labrador Retriever who developed severe elbow arthritis at the age of 10. By 15 she was on every supplement, and every medication she could find to keep her comfortable. It still wasn’t enough. Taylor inspired Dr. Griffin to become certified in Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians and to pursue a certification in canine rehabilitation because she knew she could do better for patients like Taylor.

Dr. Griffin also enjoys working with small mammal patients and has shared her home with both guinea pigs and hamsters.  She lives with her husband and two sons in the north hills. As a family, the Griffins enjoy music, camping and caring for their dog, cat, guinea pig, hamster, and many fish.
