Pets After Dark

Pets After Dark at Seven Fields Veterinary Hospital

At Seven Fields Veterinary Hospital, we understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family. When you entrust us with your pet’s care, they become part of our family too. That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with the Pets After Dark tele-health network. This new service ensures that you have access to expert veterinary advice from the time we close each day until midnight.

What is Pets After Dark?

Pets After Dark is an innovative after-hours veterinary tele-health service that connects you directly to one of our veterinarians or a trusted local vet. This service provides immediate advice and support, and guarantees an in-person follow-up appointment at Seven Fields the next day. With Pets After Dark, you can avoid the stress, cost, and time of late-night emergency clinic visits for issues that can safely wait until the next day.

How Does It Work?

When you contact Pets After Dark, you will be connected to an on-call veterinarian who will assess your pet’s condition. If an immediate visit to an emergency clinic is necessary, the veterinarian will phone ahead and provide a consultation summary to ensure a smooth transition. However, in most cases, the issue can wait until the next day, allowing you to schedule a follow-up appointment at Seven Fields.

Pets After Dark was co-founded by Dr. Caroline Simard-Swimmer, DVM, a respected Pittsburgh veterinarian with over thirty years of experience.
