MacKenzie S. - Certified Veterinary Technician

MacKenzie is a twin! She grew up in Seven Fields, PA but spent every summer in Brentwood, TN just outside of Nashville. In high school, MacKenzie job shadowed us at Seven Fields for her graduation project. It lit the fire for her to pursue a career in the field! She enrolled at the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh and completed her externship with us before officially becoming part of the team after graduation in 2020.

Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine are dentistry and physical rehabilitation. Mackenzie appreciates getting to work with a wonderful group of staff members who are passionate about veterinary medicine. She says, “everyone is super kind, friendly, and all work great together as a team.” She is committed to ensuring the well-being of all patients and making the vet visit a pleasant experience for both the
pet and owner. She wants to make a difference and better the lives of patients that we see each day!

Though she’s had a deep love for all animals since childhood, she has a special place in her heart for Golden Retrievers. She shares her home in Seven Fields with one of her own named Quigley (who is also a trained therapy dog). Her hobbies include reading, hiking, traveling, horseback riding and hanging out with friends and family.
